Chihuahua Dog

Rambo the Dog needs a home

Looking for a puppy lighter than a bottle of water (or wine)? Then Rambo is the puppy you need to meet! Rambo, a chihuahua mix, came to TRD from the Humane Society of Imperial County in January 2018. He is 4 months old and weighs about 2 pounds. His full grown weight is expected to be under 10 pounds. To compensate for his tiny size, Rambo has a big personality. Within a few days, he managed to steal his foster mom's heart with his quirky mannerisms. He is great with all humans, kids, cats, and dogs in his foster home. He is very playful and loves to play all day long. His favorite toys are ball and stuffed toys. Rambo loves to run and sniff around in his foster family's backyard. Cuddling with his humans is his favorite activity after play time is over. Rambo is currently working on his potty training and crate training. He is a smart puppy and is already making strides of progress. Every TRD adoption comes with a complementary training session to help the adopters jump start on appropriate dog training. Rambo loves to play and sometimes tends to make toys out of things that aren't his toys and chews on them. His foster mom is training him to phase out of this behavior. Training him at this age will ensure that as an adult dog, Rambo will be a perfectly well-mannered companion.
If you would like to meet Rambo, please fill out an adoption application on the TRD website and an adoption coordinator will be in touch to schedule a meet and greet.http://therescueddog.org/2015/dog-adoption-application/
